The Nokia E5 is aimed at the business crowd with a tough, metal case and well designed physical Qwerty keyboard. The 2.3 inch 320x240 screen sits above the keyboard, with a physical D-Pad, call start and end buttons, and two menu keys completing the front layout.
In addition to its excellent Qwerty keyboard, the Nokia E5 also packs a host of high-end features, including A-GPS, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash that uses Extended Depth Of Field technology to produce pin-sharp photos, and a standard 3.5mm audio jack so you can use your own favourite headphones. Owners wanting to upload their media collection to the Nokia E5 can expand the handsets memory using microSD cards.
The Nokia E5 uses the latest Symbian 3 operating system, and offers two distinct home screens, one plain and uncluttered for business use, and the second more personal screen showing communications organized by contacts. The E5 comes with pre-installed apps and widgets for live Facebook updates and Ovi Maps, Nokia's own turn-by-turn sat-nav application, plus plenty more free and paid apps can be downloaded from the Ovi store.
