The Nokia E72 is the latest upgrade to Nokia's flagship business handset. In appearance the new E72 looks little different, with a high class chrome design that will look at home in any office. The phones 2.4 inch 320x240 pixel screen sits above the large full Qwerty keyboard, and the handset feels incredibly slim at only 10mm thick.
The main draw of the Nokia E72 is the excellent large Qwerty keyboard that is little changed from the E71. The keys are still very responsive and well spaced to allow for quick typing. There are dedicated keys for the calendar, inbox and contacts book and the directional pad now has an optical joystick in the middle. Nokia have upgraded the processor to a 600MHz ARM model and there is a GPS chip, Wi-Fi and 3G HSDPA connectivity and a 5 megapixel camera.
The Nokia E72 runs the latest version of Nokia's S60 operating system, and comes with the full version of Quickoffice plus Nokia's Maps application. There is access to Nokia's push email service and setting up accounts for Gmail and other webmail accounts is straight forward and quick. The E72 can also access the Ovi store where free and paid applications and widgets can be downloaded.
